Isaac Christopher Bowers

Isaac Christopher Bowers, 31, of Wichita, Kansas, passed away on September 17, 2026, at Ascension St. Vincent Jennings Hospital in North Vernon.

Isaac was born April 28, 1995, in Lawrenceburg, the son of Clinton “Todd” and Dawn Michelle (Smith) Bowers.

Isaac was a graduate of WKU (Western Kentucky University) with a bachelor’s degree in meteorology. He was a meteorologist for AccuWeather since 2021 and had previously worked from 2017-2021 for Weather or Not. Isaac was a member of the American Meteorological Society. He and his family loved Disney and held season passes. Isaac enjoyed spending time with his sister, listening to music, traveling, sports, especially the Cincinnati Bengals and the Wichita Wind Surge Baseball Team.

Surviving are his parents, Clinton “Todd” and Dawn Bowers of Cape Canaveral, Florida; his sister, Olivia Bowers of Cincinnati, Ohio; his grandmother, Nancy Smith of North Vernon; and several other family members.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Gary Smith, and Paul and Susie Bowers.

In keeping with his and his family’s wishes cremation is planned with no services to be held at this time.
