Inez May (Creswell) Hall was lovingly welcomed into the arms of Jesus and reunited with her cherished family in heaven on September 11 at 8:00 a.m. She peacefully entered eternity as her son sang “Jesus Loves Me” to her.
2 Corinthians 5:8: “We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.”
Family
Inez is survived by her brother, Larry Creswell; children, William Scott and Roxanne Hall of Florida; Michael Wayne and Denise Hall of Arkansas; Carole Renee and Jeff Everroad of Indiana; and Wendy Ann Hall of Texas. Her grandchildren include Allen Hall, Angel Rena Weber, Sarah Hall, Mathew Hall, Jeremy Owens, Jacob Owens, Christina McTeague, Allyson Rodgers, Jeffrey Everroad and 15 Great Grand Kids.
She was preceded in death by Jr. Parsons, Cecil Creswell, Phillip Creswell, Hester Shelby, Allen and Terry Hall, Scottie Owens, and Khristina Everroad.
Life Story
Inez was born on July 5, 1938, in Fitch, Kentucky, to Jonathan and Ellen (Butler) Creswell. She graduated from Carthage High School in 1957 and married Carroll Thomas Hall on December 28, 1957.
Inez had a gentle voice, yet she was firm and steadfast, with an unwavering demeanor. A skilled and dedicated worker, she approached everything she did with care and determination. She also had a servant’s heart and lived by her values, serving as president of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and AMVETS while faithfully supporting the Fraternal Order of Eagles, the American Legion, and the Moose Lodge.
A celebration of life is scheduled for Family 11am -12 pm and from 12 pm to 2 pm for Friends with service at 2 pm on Saturday, September 19, 2026, at Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home, 420 South State Street, North Vernon, Indiana 47265. Private burial will be held at a later date in the Indiana Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Madison.
