Gail Ann Meyer, 69, of North Vernon, passed away at 5:15 p.m. on Monday, August 24, 2026, at her residence.
Born October 24, 1956, in Fresno, California, the daughter of Larry Thomas and the late Natalie (Hallopoff) Thomas. She married Robert “Bob” Meyer on April 23, 1993, in Chino Hills, California; he preceded her in death.
Gail was a graduate of Mark Keppel High School in Alhambra, California. She had worked for Perfect Day Café, sold Avon and had work as an apartment manager in Chino Hills, California; She was a member of the Moose Lodge and the American Legion, both in Chino Hills, California. She enjoyed crocheting, reading, bowling, going to the casino and traveling. She loved playing with her cat Pumpkin.
Survivors include her son, Michael Price of Los Angeles, California; Kristina (Jeremiah) Hendren of Butlerville; father, Larry Thomas; brothers, Danny (Renee) Thomas of Grove, Oklahoma and Larry Thomas; grandchildren, Jacob Hendren and Jonathan Hendren, both of North Vernon, and Joshua Hendren of Muncie; and her cat, Pumpkin.
She was preceded in death by her mother; daughter, Jennifer Price; and a brother, Rickie Blodgett.
In keeping with her wishes, cremation is planned with a celebration of life to be held at a later date. Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home were entrusted to the care of these arrangements.
Memorials may be made in honor of Gail through the funeral home to Jennings County Animal Control.
