Faye (Warner) Chamberlin

Faye Chamberlin, 92, of Columbus, passed away at 9:30 a.m. on Sunday, September 6, 2026, at Keepsake Village in Columbus.

Born October 1, 1933, in Columbus, she was the daughter of the late Earl W. Warner and Alberta Louise (Elkins) Coleman. She married William Chamberlin on May 9, 1969; he preceded her in death on October 5, 1996.

Faye was a homemaker and housewife who enjoyed crocheting, flowers and gardening. She loved spending time with her family.

Survivors include her sons, Terry Joseph (Kathy) Perdue of Scottsburg and Eric K. Perdue of Jonesville; stepchildren, William E. Chamberlin, David R. Chamberlin, Bonnie M. Haggerty, and Phyllis McLellan; brothers, Joseph K. (Shirley) Warner of Columbus and Earl G. Warner of Greenfield; sisters Raye Louise James of Columbus and Wanda Lou Clawson of Illinois; grandchildren, Tina (Christopher) Bower of Scipio, Bonnie (Larry) Ashman and Jolene Wasson, both of North Vernon, Amanda (Chuck) Kuhfahl of Ninevah, E.J. (Angie) Perdue of Greensburg, Ryan Perdue, Billi (Nathan)  Wilson, and Jason (Jennifer) Hines, all of Scottsburg; several great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Joseph H. Perdue and William Chamberlin; sons, Samuel B. Chamberlin and Michael R. Perdue; daughter, Diana Lynn Cardinal; brothers, John Henry, Larry Wiliam, Kenneth, Richard and Frederick Warner; sisters, Doris Ann Warner and Carol Sue Warner; and grandson, Jeremy Cardinal.

The funeral for Faye will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 10, 2026, at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Service with Kim Hall officiating. The visitation for family and friends will be on Thursday, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. The burial will follow in the Springer Cemetery in Columbus.
