Amber Elaine Bowyer, 28, of Holton, passed away on July 21, 2026, at the University of Cincinnati Hospital in Cincinnati.
She was born September 10, 1997, in Seymour, the daughter of Thomas Eric Bowyer and Regina Carol (Gibson) Bowyer.
Amber was 2016 graduate of Jennings County High School and worked as a CNA for Manderley Health Care Center in Osgood. She enjoyed driving tractors, taking walks, swimming, fishing, kayaking, and shopping at Goodwill. Amber loved spending time with her beloved son, Blaine.
Surviving with her son Blaine Thomas Lovins of Holton, are her companion, William Cody Lovins of Holton; her father, Thomas Eric Bowyer of Dupont, Regina Carol Bowyer of Kent; sisters, Katie (Andrew) Roark of Deputy, Miranda (Tyler) Luedeman of Scottsburg, and Casey (Nate) Burton of Versailles; her in-laws, Tom and Becky Lovins of Dillsboro; grandmothers, Deanna Calvert of Dupont and Theresa Bowyer of Clarksville; nieces and nephews, Kailer Roark, Airalynn Roark, Adleigh Roark, Silas Luedeman and Sampson Luedeman; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Thomas Boyer and Silas Gibson; grandmother, Marie Gibson; and a baby sister.
A funeral service for Amber will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 30, 2026, at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Service in North Vernon with the Rev. Dan Corbin officiating. The visitation for family and friends will be from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Thursday. Burial will follow in the Spurgeon Cemetery in Austin.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home in honor of Amber for help with funeral expenses.
