Aaron Joseph Blevins Jr.

Aaron Joseph Blevins Jr., 16, of North Vernon, passed away at 4:41 p.m. on Thursday, August 20, 2026, in North Vernon.

Born January 3, 2010, in Columbus, he was the son of Aaron Blevins Sr. and Susanna (Mullis) Little.

Aaron was a junior at Jennings County High School and attended the welding program at Versailles Career Center. He had plans of joining the US Navy or Air Force after finishing high school. He was a member of JCHS Game Club and was a former member of Boy scout Troop #536. Aaron enjoyed Legos, PlayStation, and welding. He loved animals.

Survivors include his father, Aaron (Marly) Blevins Sr. of North Vernon; mother, Susanna (Justin) Little of Seymour; brothers, Jackson Little of Seymour, and Tyler Mullikin of North Vernon; sisters, Brynnaleigh Blevins of North Vernon, Kenzi Little of Seymour, Taryn Hook and Kiera Ross both of North Vernon; grandparents, Sharon and Rodney Hubbard of North Vernon, Tammy Lorance of North Vernon, Paula and Sam Day of Columbus, Lester and Viola Little of Commiskey, Joseph Blevins of Brownstown, and Ron Hubbard; great-grandparent, Linda Treadway of Scipio; aunts and uncles, Erica Mullis, Daniel Mullis, Katie Little, Amanda Lucas, Richard Lucas, Cheyenne Blevins, Adam Blevins, Loren (Hailey) Marsh, and Josh Little;  several cousins, including Charlie, Chris, and Kaiser.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Wayne Mullis; great-grandparents, Larry Treadway, Jack and Diane Blevins and Sandy Hubbard; and great-aunt, Nancy Edwards.

A funeral service for Aaron will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Service in North Vernon, with Rev. Terry Brammer officiating. Visitation for family and friends will be from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the service.

Memorials may be made in honor of Aaron through the funeral home to Indiana Suicide Prevention.
